Job Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF, etc
  • In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers and printers
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
  • Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-FI and security infrastructure
  • Provide Level-2/3 support to diagnose and troubleshoot network-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology
  • Set up and install a variety of network devices and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and Quality of Service (QoS) components.
  • Installing and configuring network equipment
  • Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
  • Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems
  • Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
  • Implementing disaster recovery procedures
  • Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
  • Presentation and documentation of the technical solutions to the clients both orally via presentations and written. Preparation of proposals, RFP's and other pre-sales documentation
  • Customer Proof-of- Concept
  • Delivery support to Project Managers with the implementation of successful projects
  • Implementation of key solutions under the purview of the unit, OEM Channel Management
  • Attend relevant trainings when nominated by the unit head and apply the knowledge gained to the job
  • Report operational status of all managed projects and assignments on a weekly basis.
  • Observe an absolute non-disclosure of company’s information, processes and clients’ data to un-authorized persons. Maintaining a professional attitude and loyalty to the organization at all times. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Effect any other business the organization requires of your skills & competencies and all other self-initiated or delegated assignments by supervisor to agreed targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC experience in related sectors.
  • Educational qualification in Engineering or Computer Science is required. Holding a Masters in a related field will be an advantage.
  • CCNP Certification is a must.
  • Strong understanding of network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching protocols, security best practices, and network monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with relevant software
