Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Network Manager with 10–15 years of hands-on expertise in enterprise networking and infrastructure. This role blends strategic leadership, technical depth, and team development, overseeing the performance, scalability, and security of our network while guiding a high-performing team of professionals. Network Architecture & Operations
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN solutions.
Lead evaluation and integration of emerging technologies (Software Defined-Networks, cloud networking, automation).
Maintain high availability and security across all network layers.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor a team of [X] network engineers and administrators.
Conduct regular 1:1 meeting to support team growth, address concerns, and align goals.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and ownership.
Guide career development through coaching, certification planning, and skill mapping.
Project Management & Execution
Own end-to-end delivery of complex networking projects, migrations, and upgrades.
Align network initiatives with business goals and cross-functional priorities.
Monitor timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
Security & Compliance
Implement robust security frameworks including ACLs, IPS/IDS, firewalls, and segmentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (HIPAA, Hi Trust, SOC, etc.).
Lead incident response and vulnerability remediation.
Monitoring & Optimization
Oversee network monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analysis.
Drive improvements in uptime, throughput, and operational efficiency.
Documentation & Stakeholder Communication
Maintain detailed topology diagrams, asset inventories, change records, and SOPs.
Present strategic updates and reports to executive leadership.
Vendor Management
Manage vendor relationships, support contracts, and procurement lifecycles.
Forecast and control network budget for hardware, licensing, and services.
Coordinate with external partners and service providers for escalations and strategic planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10–15 years of enterprise networking experience with a strong technical foundation.
Leadership experience managing technical teams, conducting performance reviews, career planning, and driving strategic infrastructure projects.
Expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, and security (BGP, OSPF, vPC, VXLAN, EVPN).
Deep understanding of data center topologies (e.g., spine-leaf architectures), VXLAN EVPN, fabric technologies, and DC-class platforms such as Nexus switches
Familiarity and hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower)
Working knowledge of IDS/IPS, secure segmentation, VPNs, and SSL inspection
Familiarity with SDN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
Extensive exposure to Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) frameworks
Proven experience in designing and implementing redundant, fault-tolerant networks to support recovery objectives
Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, JNCIE, NSE 7+) strongly preferred.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
