Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer (Night Shift) located in Benin City. The NOC Engineer will monitor network systems, perform network administration tasks, and troubleshoot network issues as they arise. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support, ensuring network security, and maintaining network performance. The engineer will work closely with other members of the IT team to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) operations and Network Administration skills
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support
- Knowledge of Network Security best practices and protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work night shifts and manage tasks independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar are a plus
