Responsibilities;
- Conduct research and analyse policy changes in areas critical to client operations, including regulations affecting trade, investment, technology, and environmental policies.
- Draft policy briefs, reports, and presentations to communicate key issues to clients, stakeholders, and government bodies.
- Prepare and review press releases, social media content, and other communication materials.
- Manage media relations and crisis communication, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Work on initiatives that foster public and private sector collaboration, facilitating policy and regulatory alignment.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, roundtables, and events involving government stakeholders, ensuring Nina Jojer Ltd’s presence and participation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all government and client-related activities are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Communications, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public policy analysis, advocacy, or strategic communications.
- Proficiency in policy research and analysis methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, including social media management and content creation.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or other local languages is an advantage.
- Experience managing media relations, crisis communications, or public advocacy campaigns.
- Established network with relevant government bodies or regulatory agencies in West Africa.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and deadlines.
