Role Overview
- The PR & Communications Lead will shape and implement the organization’s communication strategy across Dobic Health and HelpMum.
- This role is responsible for strengthening brand visibility, managing media relations, storytelling, and ensuring consistent, high-quality communication across all internal and external channels.
Responsibilities
Strategic Communications:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communications strategies for our organizations
- Lead crisis communication planning and reputation management
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and partners
Content Development:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content for social media, newsletters, blogs, websites, and campaigns
- Manage storytelling initiatives that highlight impact, beneficiaries, and innovations
- Ensure consistent brand tone, style, and visual identity across all social media platforms
Digital Communications:
- Lead social media strategy, content calendars, and engagement metrics
- Monitor analytics and optimize content for visibility, reach, and impact
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and ads
- Develop monthly PR plans and templates
Qualifications & Skills
- Female candidates preferably
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a relevant field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage
- 3–5+ years of experience in PR/Communications, within health, tech, NGO, or social impact sectors
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Proven experience managing media relations and digital communications
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with diverse teams
- Familiarity with content management and social media platforms
