Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and creative Product 3D Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Blender 3D and possess the expertise to translate conceptual designs into detailed 3D models.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing the entire product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to physical fabrication in collaboration with our skilled artisans.

Responsibilities

  • 3D Modeling: Create detailed and visually appealing 3D models of marketing assets, including signages, gondolas, mobile bars, and free-standing units, using Blender 3D.
  • Lounge remodeling, ability to conceptualize designs for bars, lounges and clubs and also supervise their transformation
  • Design Interpretation: Collaborate with the design team to understand and interpret conceptual designs, ensuring accurate representation in the 3D models. 
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire product development process, managing the project from design inception to physical fabrication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with artisans and craftsmen to ensure seamless transition from digital design to physical realization, providing necessary guidance and support.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the final physical products align with the initial design vision and quality standards.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the design and fabrication processes.

Project management Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience as a 3D Modeler, project administrator with at least 5 years experience in an FMCG preferably in a visual merchandising or related field.
  • Proficiency in Blender 3D is mandatory.
  • Photoshop and corel draw or illustrator
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 3D modeling projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes and materials.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in fabrication.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skill
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Must have experiential marketing experience
  • Minimum of first degree preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
