Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Production/Space Manager at Freeme Digital Limited located in Lagos Island.
- The Production/Space Manager will be responsible for space management, program management, space planning, and effective communication.
Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production/Space Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our production spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure that our facilities are efficiently managed and that all production activities run smoothly from pre-production through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Space Management: Coordinate and manage the scheduling, setup, and maintenance of production spaces, ensuring that all areas are fully equipped and ready for use.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistical aspects of productions, including the movement of equipment, personnel, and other resources between locations.
- Vendor and Contractor Liaison: Communicate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to arrange for the provision of services and equipment needed for productions.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing budgets for space-related expenses, including tracking costs and identifying areas for potential savings.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production spaces comply with safety regulations and standards, implementing necessary safety protocols and procedures.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise related to production spaces, including equipment malfunctions, space conflicts, or logistical challenges.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with production teams, including directors, producers, and crew, to ensure that space requirements are met and production needs are addressed in a timely manner.
- Having a good industry network is a plus.
- Must be able drive in sales as that is a major part of the job.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Event Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production management or a similar role within the entertainment industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to production environments.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by production schedules
