Role Overview

The university is seeking an accomplished and dedicated individual to join our esteemed faculty as a Professor in the MSc Software Engineering program. The ideal candidate will contribute to the academic rigor of the university, engage in cutting-edge research, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software engineering professionals. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality lectures and seminars in the MSc Software Engineering program.
• Developing and enhancing the curriculum to ensure it meets current industry standards.
• Guiding and mentoring students in their academic and professional development.
• Engaging in impactful research and contributing to the university's research objectives.
• Participating in relevant academic and administrative committees. 

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Software Engineering or a closely related field from a reputable institution.
• A distinguished record of scholarly publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
• Substantial experience in teaching and curriculum development at the postgraduate level.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide students in their academic and professional pursuits.
• Active participation in professional organizations and a strong network in the software engineering field.
