- We’re now looking for a QA Engineer who’s got an eagle eye for detail, loves breaking things (on purpose), and wants to be part of something big.
What You’ll Be Doing
- This isn’t just about clicking around looking for bugs, you’ll be the quality guardian making sure everything just works.
Here’s what you’ll be up to:
- Test new features, bug fixes, and updates across our web + mobile platforms.
- Dive into manual and automated testing (web apps built with Laravel/Blade, React Native, APIs, you name it).
- Do all the testing: functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, exploratory, you’ll cover it all.
- Catch weird UI glitches and flag anything that feels off or buggy.
- Collaborate with devs during sprint planning and make sure requirements make sense.
- Write solid test cases, document results, and keep testing activities organized.
- Test APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia + check backend stuff like MySQL entries.
- QA across decoupled systems (think React + Laravel API), and get comfy with microservices.
- Make sure everything looks and works great across different devices, screen sizes, and browsers.
- Watch the logs, catch errors, and follow up till it’s all squeaky clean.
What You Should Already Know
- 1–3 years doing QA/testing for web or software apps.
- Basic Laravel, PHP, and MySQL knowledge (no need to be a dev, just know what’s what).
- Comfortable with frontend stuff like HTML, CSS, JS, and Blade.
- Experience testing APIs (Postman, Insomnia = your BFFs).
- Good understanding of Agile + SDLC.
- Can communicate clearly (no vague bug reports, please)
- Major eye for detail, you notice stuff others miss.
Bonus Skills (Not a Must, But Cool to Have)
- Experience with React, React Native, or Next.js.
- Microservices familiarity.
- You’ve used browser dev tools for debugging.
- Know your way around automated testing tools (like Laravel Dusk, Cypress, or Selenium).
- Basic Git knowledge (commits, branches, etc.).
