Responsibilities
- Plan, control, and direct document management activities for large projects interfacing with Project Management, Material control, scheduling, Expediting, and clients to coordinate documentation work.
- Drive adherence to Enterprise Records Program through many change management efforts.
- Design and maintain recordkeeping systems and recommend new processes to enhance the existing systems.
- Providing savvy, passionate leadership to team members to ensure successful team building, ongoing
- training, and general employee satisfaction.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the electronic document management systems and electronic
- learning management systems and provide system metrics as needed.
- Provide backroom support during regulatory agency inspection and corporate audits including the provision of system report and compliance.
- Source new opportunities for the business and create awareness of the business.
- Research all the records management legislation, policies, and standards as they evolve with global best practices.
- Conduct annual strategic planning sessions.
- Advise and implement relevant acts in the storage facility.
- Profile records management personnel to ensure that the job description is well formulated.
- Ensure that records management policies, procedures, and guidelines are up to date.
- Enforce compliance of our central storage facility.
- Evaluate the information compliance at the customer site by conducting regular audits.
- Compile and maintain a master index inventory of all client records.
- Design file plan, metadata, taxonomy, retention schedule (Information Governance) for new ECM project.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Records Manager
