Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic IT team.
- As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, a strong foundation in Salesforce development, and a passion for creating customized, efficient, and effective CRM solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Design and implement custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Customize and extend Salesforce applications using declarative tools like Process Builder and Flow.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Implement and maintain Salesforce configuration, including profiles, roles, permissions, workflows, and validation rules.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of customizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administrators and business analysts, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform releases and new features to leverage the latest capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce customizations and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
- Certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of declarative tools like Process Builder and Flow.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on Salesforce best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or other advanced certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DX and modern development practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Previous experience in Salesforce communities and mobile app development.
- Contribution to the Salesforce community or open-source projects.
