Search Engine Optimization Manager at WildFire B.S Ltd

About the Role

As our SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that boost organic growth for Wildfire and our clients. You’ll collaborate with our content, design, and development teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for search and deliver sustainable traffic growth.

This is a hybrid role. You’ll work remotely most of the time but must be available for occasional in-office collaboration at our Ilupeju office.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies for Wildfire and client projects.
• Keyword Research: Identify high-value keywords and optimize content around them.
• On-page Optimization: Optimize website structures, metadata, internal linking, and content for maximum visibility.
• Technical SEO: Collaborate with developers to ensure proper site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
• Content Collaboration: Work with writers to ensure blog posts, landing pages, and marketing content are SEO-friendly.
• Link Building: Implement ethical link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Prepare regular reports with actionable insights.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a digital agency or tech company.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console, and keyword research methods.
• Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to analyze data and present insights in a clear way.
• Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
• Must be comfortable with a hybrid work setup.
