Chowdeck is a technology company that provides logistics services to both vendors and consumers. This potentially allows food vendors to deliver meals seamlessly while also providing consumers with an easy platform to order meals from their favourite restaurants in their city.

  • As a Senior Brand & Graphic Designer at Chowdeck, you will play a pivotal role in building and shaping the visual identity of our brand. You will take charge of creating, managing, and executing high-quality design projects, ensuring our brand message and personality is compelling and consistent across all platforms. Your work will directly influence how our customers perceive and engage with our brand, leaving a lasting impact.

We'll trust you to:

  • Lead and manage the design process for campaigns, branding projects, and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain brand consistency internally and externally by creating, managing and enforcing design guidelines and templates.
  • Create visually stunning and on-brand designs for digital and physical channels, including social media, email campaigns, billboards, packaging, and in-app content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, content and cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative campaigns.
  • Work closely with the other designers on the team to create cohesive designs that enhance the customer experience.
  • Tailor design and communications to resonate with the culture and values of the cities we are present in, and will launch in, ensuring our people feel closer and more valued.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to keep Chowdeck’s visuals fresh and engaging.
  • Mentor and guide a junior designer, ensuring their growth and alignment with Chowdeck’s standards.
  • Ensure all designs comply with copyright and data protection laws.
  • Represent Chowdeck at self-hosted and external events

What we are looking for:

  • A hustler, fun and bustling with ideas
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in brand and graphic design, with a proven track record of delivering beautiful and impactful designs.
  • Deep understanding of branding principles and how to apply them across various mediums.
  • Possess a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects, from digital to print.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and enjoy working in a team environment while taking ownership of your projects.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian and African cultures, ensuring designs are relatable and resonate deeply with our audience.
  • Deep and unrelenting focus on customer satisfaction and experience.
