Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpret data and analyze results using advanced statistical techniques, generating ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement robust databases, data collection systems, and data analytics solutions to enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
- Source, clean, and maintain large datasets from both primary and secondary sources.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret complex data patterns and trends.
- Filter and “clean” data, identifying and correcting code problems through detailed review of reports and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs, proposing data-driven solutions.
Key Skills Required:
- Proficiency in automated data extraction from primary and secondary sources.
- Expertise in data cleaning, coding error resolution, and database management.

Qualifications:
- BSc in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- 6+ years post NYSC experience in data analytics
- Industry experience can be an edge.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python.
- Technical expertise in database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Experience with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), programming (e.g., JavaScript, XML, ETL frameworks), and statistical packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).
- Proficiency in data processing platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Spark) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Effective communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in data analysis and team collaboration.
