  • We’re looking for an experienced data manager extract, analyse, update and clean data for our pharmaceutical supply chain service. Our services support and shape health systems, and our data managers are key personnel at the heart of these services, maintaining datasets with a special focus on price lists and product master data.
  • You will be responsible for managing data in a variety of formats including SQL databases, spreadsheets and in-house systems.
  • As a senior data manager you will be ultimately responsible for the integrity of the datasets under your purview. In order to achieve this you will work directly on the data itself but also design and lead initiatives which coordinate pharmacists, supply chain managers, software teams and other data team members.

Required

  • Professional experience working with SQL databases (especially PostgreSQL) for data extraction and updates
  • Professional experience working with spreadsheets, including advanced use cases such as pivot tables and custom formulae to create business tools for yourself and others
  • Professional experience working with large datasets and automating updates
  • Analytical thinker: strong ability to decompose complex problems and tackle them methodically
  • Detail oriented: must be able to approach problems systematically and thoroughly
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate team members towards a shared goal
  • Basic quantitative modelling skills and ability to analyse data using Excel, SQL or other data environments
  • Language skills: English (fluent)

  • Experience working with inventory systems, pharmaceutical and health commodity data
  • Additional scripting capability for personal automation and analysis tools
