- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Information Technology Manager to join our team in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and execution of strategic IT initiatives, oversee project management, fortify network and system security, collaborate with vendors, meticulously manage budgets, and provide leadership to our dedicated IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive innovation and efficiency through the effective use of technology.
Project Management:
- Lead and oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Security Management:
- Ensure the robust security of networks and systems, implementing and monitoring best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
Vendor Coordination:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring optimal service delivery and value for investments.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on strategic needs and organizational requirements.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage IT budgets effectively, forecasting and optimizing resource allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial best practices.
Team Leadership:
- Provide strong leadership to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting skill growth and professional advancement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, project management, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
