Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer to lead and manage our IT infrastructure and systems.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise IT solutions, ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- You will provide technical leadership, manage complex IT projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems, including servers, networks, and endpoints
- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures
- Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology deployments
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues
- Manage cloud and on-premise environments, including virtualization technologies
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional IT engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and enterprise systems
- Experience with Windows and Linux server environments
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker)
- Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with IT documentation and knowledge management.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Solutions Architect
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform)
- Knowledge of database administration and integration
- Exposure to ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
- Experience managing IT teams or leading technical projects
- Knowledge of collaboration tools and enterprise software (Office 365, SharePoint, etc.)
