- The ideal candidate should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages and maintaining highly scalable and complex applications that meets the company’s business needs. Also, h/she will be responsible for overseeing projects from conception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate user requirements into system architecture.
- Manage projects, write frontend and backend code.
- Work with databases to create, retrieve, update, and delete data.
- Create test code to validate the application against client requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Key Requirements:
- B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or in any related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer building both frontend and backend applications using Java Vert.x
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and at least one frontend framework.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript (NodeJS).
- Proficient in Java with extensive experience using the Vert.x framework.
- Experience building complex, scalable products.
- Experience with software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, etc.)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.).
