we are looking for.
- The Senior Manager , Marketing, Knowledge and Communications will lead and oversee all marketing initiatives in our 6 markets: Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Uganda and Kenya.
- This role involves developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing a team, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders tdrive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
- The Senior Manager, Marketing, Knowledge and communications will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing strategy in alignment with regional and industry trends and business goals.

You will
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored for the African market.
- Conduct market analysis tidentify regional trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
Brand Management:
- Enhance and maintain the company's brand image across all our markets of operations.
- Design and produce newsletters on a quarterly basis for our stakeholders (customers, transporters, current and prospective investors, etc).
Regional Campaigns:
- Design and implement marketing campaigns specific tthe unique challenges and opportunities in African countries.
- Run partners campaign tretain and acquire partners by collaborating with
- Operations departments in all our markets of operations.
- Digital Marketing and E-commerce:
- Oversee digital marketing strategies, including online advertising, SEO, and social media, tailored tregional preferences.
- Marketing of Kobproducts i.e. KoboTrip and KoboCare on all our social media platforms and websites.
- Advise on relevant and cost-effective distribution platforms of all Kobo marketing content.
Localization of Content:
- Ensure content is culturally relevant and resonates with diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with local language experts for effective communication
Partnerships and Alliances:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and influencers.
- Leverage partnerships for joint marketing initiatives.
We're looking for someone who has
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the technology or logistics industry in Africa.
- Strong understanding of regional markets, cultural nuances, and regulatory landscapes.
