  • This role requires a professional with a solid background in presales engineering, with at least 7 years of sales experience in the technology industry.
  • The candidate will work closely with customers to capture requirements, present proposals, conduct demos, and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
  • Additionally, the role involves attending meetings with OEMs and clients, acting as a technical expert, and collaborating with the sales team on business proposals and pitches.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement and Requirement Analysis
  • Work closely with customers to understand and capture their technical and business requirements.
  • Translate customer requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Sales Support and Presales Engineering
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and pitches for business opportunities.
  • Present technical proposals and solutions to customers, clearly articulating the benefits and capabilities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities as needed.
  • Technical Expertise and Solution Design
  • Design and implement network security solutions using F5, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint technologies.
  • Integrate and optimize solutions with OEM infrastructure products such as Nutanix and Forescout.
  • Act as a technical expert in meetings with customers and OEMs, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Post-Implementation Support
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers post-implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings with various OEMs and clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in network security and OEM infrastructure products.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and sales skills through training and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the technology industry as a presales engineer.
  • Proven expertise in F5, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint technologies.
  • Experience with OEM infrastructure products such as Nutanix and Forescout.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage client expectations.
  • Relevant certifications in network security and OEM products are highly desirable (e.g., F5 Certified Technology Specialist, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, Check Point Certified Security Expert, CCNA, CCNP, VMware Certified Internet work Expert(CCIE), AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Certified Ethical Hacking(CEH), VMware Certified Professional – Network Virtualization(VCP-NV) Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Certified Information System Security Professional(CISSP) etc.
