Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Network Engineer, located in Ibadan.
- As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, administration, engineering, troubleshooting, and security of our networks, including hardware, software, and applications.
- You will also be responsible for recommending and implementing network improvements to ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
Qualifications
- Network Administration, Network Engineering, Network Security, and Network Design skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in LAN/WAN technologies, routing/switching protocols, firewalls, VPN, and load balancing
- Experience in network monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity planning
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Cisco, Juniper, or other relevant certifications are a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in network engineering and administration
