Radio Now FM is a public service media company focused on delivering factual, nuanced, and balanced Nigerian-focused programming.
- We are looking for an experienced News and Current Affairs Presenter/Producer who will play a key role in reporting high-quality news and current affairs programs to our audience.
- This role requires someone who can conduct in-depth research, present stories in the most engaging and informative way to our audience, and be well informed on national issues.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Deliver news and current affairs programs clearly, engagingly, and professionally.
- Conduct critical live or pre-recorded interviews with guests, subject-matter experts, and officials, asking insightful questions and facilitating discussions.
- Research, write, and edit show scripts.
- Plan and produce segments for shows ensuring that topics are timely, relevant, and engaging.
- Ensure accuracy and impartiality of news content by verifying facts and maintaining ethical standards.
- Ensure the selection of quality guests for shows, and smooth technical execution during live broadcast.
- Work with tight deadlines while maintaining the highest editorial standards
- Adhere to editorial policies, broadcasting laws, copyright laws and maintain professionalism during broadcasts.

- Ability to communicate and engage the audience while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.
- Experience in reporting news and current affairs programs
- Demonstrate balanced and impartial judgment in making appropriate editorial decisions
- Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to sustain performance under tight deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience (4+ years) in radio presenting and production
- Strong presentation skills and on-air personality
- Strong editorial judgment
