Position Overview:

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive online traffic and conversions. You will manage and maintain the organization's social media presence across various platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and a positive brand image. Additionally, you will monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights to optimize campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy and Planning:

  •    Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's goals and target audience.
  •    Identify and prioritize social media platforms suitable for the brand and industry.
  •    Create content calendars and schedules for social media posts, ensuring consistency and relevance.

Content Creation and Management:

  •    Create engaging and compelling content (text, images, videos) tailored for each social media platform.
  •    Coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant information and assets for content creation.
  •    Use creative tools to design visually appealing graphics and videos.
  •    Monitor and moderate user-generated content and comments.

Community Engagement and Customer Service:

  •    Foster meaningful relationships with the target audience through active engagement and timely responses to comments, messages, and mentions.
  •    Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
  •    Encourage user-generated content and manage user-generated campaigns.

Social Media Advertising and Campaigns:

  •    Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to increase brand visibility, reach, and conversions.
  •    Monitor and optimize campaign performance using analytics tools.
  •    Stay updated with industry trends and emerging social media platforms to explore new advertising opportunities.

Analytics and Reporting:

  •    Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance data, and provide regular reports on key insights and recommendations.
  •    Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance social media strategies.
  •    Utilize social media monitoring tools to track brand mentions and sentiment.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Support:

  •    Collaborate with marketing, communications, and creative teams to align social media activities with overall marketing campaigns.
  •    Coordinate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and external partners to amplify social media reach.
  •    Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt writing style for different platforms and target audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
