Key Responsibilities
Technical Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the technical operations team.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of team members.

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of hardware, software, and network systems.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance service quality.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Compliance & Security:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust data security measures.

Technical Support:

  • Oversee the provision of technical support to internal staff and clients.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and incidents.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance brokerage industry.
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
