Key Responsibilities
Technical Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the technical operations team.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of hardware, software, and network systems.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance service quality.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain robust data security measures.
Technical Support:
- Oversee the provision of technical support to internal staff and clients.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and incidents.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the insurance brokerage industry.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
