Job Description
- We are seeking a visionary UI/UX Product Designer for our cross-border remittance and POS/terminal applications.
- This is a senior role for a designer who has repeatedly delivered intuitive, high-conversion fintech products from concept to launch.
- You will translate complex financial workflows into simple, delightful experiences for web & mobile.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Strategy:
- Lead end-to-end design for our consumer, merchant, and agent interfaces, mobile apps, POS dashboards, and web portals.
- Conduct user research, journey mapping, and persona development to uncover pain points in international money transfers and POS usage.
- Translate requirements into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that communicate design intent clearly.
Visual & Interaction Design:
- Create pixel-perfect UI assets, iconography, and motion/interaction patterns that align with brand guidelines.
- Establish and maintain a scalable design system for consistency across platforms.
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to iterate quickly based on feedback and analytics.
- Validate designs through usability testing, A/B experiments, and continuous user feedback.
Accessibility & Compliance:
- Ensure WCAG-compliant, inclusive design that meets global accessibility standards and supports multiple languages/currencies.
Thought Leadership:
- Champion best practices in UX for high-trust fintech experiences, including onboarding, KYC/AML flows, and real-time payment interfaces.
Preferred Toolset / Stack:
- Design & Prototyping: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Principle, Framer
- Collaboration: FigJam, Miro, Jira, Confluence, Notion
- Handoff & Development: Zeplin or Figma Dev Mode, Git-based workflows
- Testing & Analytics: Maze, Hotjar, Google Analytics, Mixpanel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7+ yearsof professional UI/UX or product design experience, with3+ years in fintech, banking, or payments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex financial or transactional products (mobile + web).
- Deep understanding ofhuman-centered design, responsive/mobile-first principles, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with design formulti-currency, cross-border paymentsor similar regulated environments.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers to implement pixel-perfect, performance-optimized interfaces.
