THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technology, the ServiceNow Developer will lead the design, development, and deployment of new ServiceNow modules and functionality, providing high-quality, fit-for-purpose technology solutions to enable Functions. You will utilize deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform to deliver solutions that align with the Foundation’s requirements and support its broader strategy.
WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
- Lead all technical tasks related to the configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ensure maximum functionality of ServiceNow by providing software coding and customization including screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third-party software integrations, and custom application development.
- Minimize downtime by creating and maintaining a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades to certify all applications for use following upgrade completion.
- Collaborate with the Technology Business Partnering and Value Management sub-functions to obtain and analyze business requirements, leveraging insight to propose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
- Provide expert advisory to Foundation Program and Function teams to answer any technical and application configuration.
- Collaborate with the Technology Transformation Execution and Governance sub-function to carry out BAU reporting and performance management for the ServiceNow platform by developing, maintaining, and executing reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
- Drive governance efforts by creating and maintaining system design and operations documentation.
- Act as a primary contact for executives, PMO and technical stakeholders on all issues related to ServiceNow system configuration, maintenance, planning, requirements gathering, training and report generation.
- Respond to enhancement requests and develop modules used on the platform to better enable Functions within the Foundation.
- Implement changes according to the established Change Management process.
- Provide post-implementation and upgrade support including monitoring application performance, functionality, debugging support and system testing.
- Collaborate with teams across the Foundation, advising on the design, development, and overall best practice configuration of ServiceNow.
- Work closely with the development team to grow and enhance ServiceNow skills and knowledge across the Foundation.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Further relevant professional certifications preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Technology development-related roles with proven experience as a ServiceNow developer.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform applications/modules.
- Proficient with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong experience in Scripting and ServiceNow APIs.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the Foundation.
