All our pieces are created at our workspace in Lagos, Nigeria, by a team that benefits from traditional techniques passed down through generations by a community of local artisans. Position Overview:
- The Social Media Associate will support our social media efforts by creating engaging content, managing community interactions, and interpreting back-end data to inform our strategies. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to help us understand our audience better and optimize our social media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in developing and curating compelling content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) that aligns with our brand identity and marketing goals.
- Community Management: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, fostering positive interactions and brand loyalty.
- Data Interpretation: Analyze social media metrics and performance data to provide insights on engagement, reach, and audience behavior. Use findings to suggest improvements and strategies for future campaigns.
- Social Media Scheduling: Help manage the content calendar and schedule posts, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery across all platforms.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content and engagement strategies that resonate with our audience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on social media performance, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Marketing or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management or a similar role, preferably in luxury fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Strong written and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data effectively.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
