Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Coordination: Lead and organize the marketing team’s content calendar, ensuring all team members meet their content deliverables across social media, video, and blogs. This includes helping with content creation and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Social Media Strategy & Management: Help develop and execute the social media strategy across platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Lead community engagement, and coordinate content posts to ensure brand visibility and consistency.
  • Content Creation & Support: Use Canva for social media graphics and sales support for corporate clients. If needed, assist in creating videos (using CapCut), blog posts, and repurposing existing content to align with brand strategies.
  • Pinterest Channel Launch: Assist in the launch and management of a Pinterest channel to expand the brand’s reach.
  • Event Promotion: Participate in promoting events through social media channels and newsletters, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
  • WhatsApp Communication: Be willing to use WhatsApp for team communication and coordination to ensure deliverables are met.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Hands-On Coordination: Efficient organization of the marketing team’s deliverables, ensuring content is created, reviewed, and posted in a timely manner.
  • Creative Content Delivery: Regular creation and repurposing of content across social media channels, with a focus on maintaining brand consistency and driving engagement.
  • Successful Pinterest Channel Launch: Timely and effective launch of the Pinterest channel, increasing brand awareness and audience reach.
  • Event Promotion Success: Effectively promoting events through the appropriate channels, resulting in increased participation and visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, with familiarity in Shopify being highly advantageous.
  • Tools Proficiency: Proficient in Canva, and AI tools for content creation and optimization. Familiarity with CapCut and SEO best practices is advantageous.
  • E-Commerce Knowledge: Experience with Shopify and knowledge of other e-commerce apps is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a willingness to use WhatsApp for team coordination.
  • Creativity & Flexibility: Ability to think creatively, execute content ideas, and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and drive team performance.
