Job Summary
- We are looking for a vibrant and innovative Social Media & Digital Marketing Officer who is passionate about creating engaging content and has excellent wordplay, copywriting, and design skills.
- You will be responsible for managing Tamak Logistics' social media platforms, including Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, while driving growth, engagement, and brand visibility through well-crafted digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow Tamak's social media accounts by creating daily engaging tweets, replying to mentions, and handling direct messages (DMs).
- Post creative and visually appealing designs on Instagram/Facebook 3 times a week to maintain consistent brand presence.
- Monitor and report on social media performance, tracking engagement, reach, and growth metrics.
- Respond promptly to comments, inquiries, and interactions on all platforms.
Content Creation:
- Develop compelling social media content that aligns with Tamak's brand voice and target audience.
- Create a content calendar to share periodic updates and plans for social media activities.
- Create copies that are witty, engaging, and optimized for use on different platforms.
- Utilize basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP) to produce eye-catching visuals for posts, stories, and ads.
Digital Marketing & Ads:
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Optimize the company’s visibility through paid social media ads (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and Google Ads.
- Identify opportunities for branding partnerships and collaborations to increase brand exposure.
- Analyze and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI and meet marketing objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: A Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1 - 5 years proven experience in media, marketing, and sales roles, with a track record of achieving goals.
- Creativity: A sharp mind for creating content that resonates with an audience and strengthens brand identity.
- Copywriting: Excellent writing skills with a flair for wordplay and crafting engaging messages.
- Graphic Design: Ability to design basic yet attractive visuals using tools like Canva, PIXLR, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Social Media Savvy: Solid understanding of social media platforms, especially Twitter and Instagram, and how to grow and engage an audience.
- Basic Digital Marketing Knowledge: Experience with running social media ads and optimizing campaigns via Google Ads.
- Communication Skills: Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure the quality of content before posting.
Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Lagos, Nigeria.
- Experience in managing social media accounts or previous work in a similar role is a plus.
