Job Description

  • As the Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to grow online communities, increase brand visibility, and engage with target audiences. 
  • This role involves content creation, social media management, and analytics tracking to ensure the social media channels align with the overall marketing and business goals. 
  • You would responsible for planning, creating, and managing digital content across our various social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage with the audience, and drive traffic to our social channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage creative social media strategies to increase brand engagement, drive traffic, and promote products/services.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content (including text, images, videos, and graphics) for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and others.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts, including scheduling regular posts, monitoring interactions, and responding to followers in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media content aligns with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting of social media metrics (reach, engagement, conversions)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and algorithm changes on social media platforms.
  • Monitor competitors’ social media strategies and adjust accordingly.
  • Develop paid social media campaigns and manage the budget for ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram.
  • Build and nurture relationships with social media influencers and bloggers to increase content reach.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations in digital marketing and social media.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their respective best practices.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.

Skills:

  • Customer service skills - Emphasize the importance of strong customer service skills in handling inquiries or complaints on social media.
  • Cultural Sensitivity - Ability to manage social media interactions with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, especially if the brand has a diverse audience.
  • SEO and Content Optimization - Experience with SEO best practices for social media content to enhance visibility and searchability.
