Role Overview
- This role will lead social media strategy, content execution, online engagement, brand storytelling, and community growth assigned to one of our business unit
- The ideal candidate knows how to turn ideas into scroll-stopping content, conversations into conversions, and audiences into loyal communities.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X & LinkedIn)
- Create content calendars, creative briefs, and campaign concepts weekly/monthly
- Plan, film, direct, and assist in editing lifestyle, food, behind-the-scenes, event, influencer & people-focused content
- Oversee brand storytelling across platforms ensuring consistency and visual identity
Community & Engagement:
- Build an active, engaging online presence and meaningful customer relationships
- Respond to comments, DMs, inquiries, and reviews in real-time
- Manage online customer experience and escalate service issues to internal teams
- Design activities to build loyalty and repeat engagement (giveaways, challenges, polls, live sessions, loyalty programs, etc.)
Influencer & Brand Partnerships:
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, creators, and brand partners
- Manage content shoots, influencer visits, PR packages, and in-venue activation content
Campaigns, Events & Promotions:
- Support marketing and product campaigns across all business units
- Promote restaurant specials, nightlife calendar, experiences, and launches
- Coordinate content and live coverage for events, campaigns, and brand moments
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track performance KPIs: impressions, engagement, growth, conversions, sentiment, and ROI
- Suggest improvements, new ideas, and trends with actionable insights
- Competitor & trend research always ahead, never reactive
Brand Culture & Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative team, operations, HR/Training, and hospitality managers
- Capture content across locations and engage with real people & real stories daily
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or relevant field preferred
- 2–4+ years experience in social media and content marketing (hospitality & lifestyle experience is a plus)
- Strong content creation skills scripting, filming, ideation & storytelling
- Understanding of Nigerian social landscape + hospitality culture & nightlife trends
- Ability to be on-ground for content capture across venues
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, creativity & time management
- Proficiency with mobile editing tools (CapCut, VN etc.); familiarity with design tools (Canva/AI tools) a plus
- Must be proactive, result-driven & able to handle fast-paced environments
- Passionate energy not passive execution.
