Job Summary
Global Youth Skills Acquisition and Poverty Eradication Organization (GYSAPEO) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our digital engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with a passion for youth empowerment, poverty eradication, and skills acquisition. This role is pivotal in amplifying our mission through compelling content, data-driven strategies, and impactful social media campaigns. The Social Media Manager will drive brand awareness, promote community engagement, and ensure consistent messaging across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Produce high-quality, engaging content (text, graphics, video) that aligns with GYSAPEO’s mission and resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and refine strategies.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and facilitate meaningful interactions to strengthen online presence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
- Stay abreast of emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
- Support project launches, partnerships, and organizational events through targeted social media initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Expertise in social media platforms (Meta Suite, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter) and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, etc.).
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) or video editing skills are advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
