Job Summary:

  • We're seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to develop and implement engaging online strategies, enhancing our hotel's brand awareness, driving guest engagement, and increasing bookings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Create and curate compelling content (visuals, captions, stories) showcasing hotel amenities, services, and local experiences.
  • Manage and schedule posts using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews, comments, and messages in a timely, professional manner.
  • Analyse social media metrics (engagement, reach, ROI) and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform changes, and emerging social media technologies.
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns (budget allocation, targeting, optimization).
  • Foster online communities through contests, giveaways, and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure brand guidelines and hospitality standards are maintained across all social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of social media management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement.
  • Excellent content creation, writing, and visual design skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and advertising options.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hospitality software and systems.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
  • Certification in social media marketing (Hootsuite, Facebook Blueprint).
  • Familiarity with email marketing and automation tools.
