Job Description
- The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, improve sales, and drive traffic to the website.
- This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of social media trends, analytics, and online marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms, conventional media and websites.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.
- Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates).
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees in Marketing, Communications, or related fields with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and management tools.
- Strong understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and online marketing.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- Experience with social media advertising and knowledge of digital marketing.
