Responsibilities
- Proficiency in languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and potentially NoSQL databases
- Ability to integrate devices (example POS systems, health monitors) with other software
- Expertise in Android or iOS development is essential.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is important.
- Competence in developing and consuming APIs (RESTful or SOAP) to enable communication between different components.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, secure transactions, and PCI DSS compliance
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
- Familiarity with payment processing mechanisms, including credit/debit card transactions, digital wallets, and other payment methods.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise, including software bugs, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related fields.
- Certification is an added advantage.
