Crossover Microfinance bank Ltd was first incorporated under the name Pacific Savings and Loans Ltd in 1992. With a new focus and team in 2010 the bank was later rebranded Crossover Savings and Loans Ltd aka Crossover Mortgage Bankers. With the ever growing financial need in the retail sector and with new investors, Crossover downscaled it operations from mortgage to microfinance in 2014 to empower micro and small scale businesses in the retail sector. It commenced full scale microfinance operations in March 2016. Crossover Microfinance Bank Ltd is duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and certified by NDIC with a paid up capital of N450 million.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Execute test cases, log and track defects, and produce detailed test reports.
- Prepare and maintain project and product-related test documentation.
- Assist with code and documentation configuration management.
- Perform functional, system integration, and regression testing across web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Provide regular test status updates and highlight quality risks to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 2+ years of software testing experience.
- Familiarity with common testing methodologies, testing tools, and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to perform functional testing and system integration testing; experience with performance or stress testing is a plus.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., SVN).
- Understanding of software engineering principles and testing processes; system or acceptance testing experience is an advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing; exposure to automation testing is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or JMeter (or similar tools).
- Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL queries is an advantage.
