Job Summary
- The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, integrating, and overseeing end-to-end technology solutions that align with Dag Industries’ business objectives.
- This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring all solutions are secure, scalable, and future-proof.
- The Solutions Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, outsourcing partners, and internal IT teams to deliver solutions in infrastructure, applications, integrations, and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical architectures.
- Design solutions spanning infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, integrations, and security.
- Produce architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison between business units, outsourcing partners, and internal IT teams to ensure alignment on solution objectives, constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Facilitate solution workshops with cross-functional teams and manage the flow of information between technical and business stakeholders.
- Present solution designs to executive stakeholders for review and approval.
Integration & Application Architecture:
- Design integration patterns for CRM and other custom applications.
- Develop API and middleware strategies to enable seamless data and process flows between platforms.
- Collaborate with outsourced development teams to ensure designs are implemented exactly as specified and meet quality standards.
Cloud & Infrastructure:
- Architect hybrid cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, and on-prem infrastructure.
- Recommend and design modern cloud-native patterns (e.g., serverless, containerization, microservices).
- Ensure infrastructure meets performance, resilience, and disaster recovery requirements.
Security & Compliance:
- Embed cybersecurity best practices in all solution designs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, local data protection laws).
- Work with security teams to design and implement zero-trust architectures and data protection strategies.
Governance & Standards:
- Apply architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) to ensure design consistency and reusability.
- Maintain architecture repositories, roadmaps, and design principles.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in architecture or solution design roles.
- Proven experience designing end-to-end enterprise solutions across infrastructure, cloud, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architecture patterns.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and middleware.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
- Strong understanding of security architecture and compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to Agile delivery, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing relationships with outsourcing partners and internal IT teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of data analytics platforms and designing for BI / reporting.
- Pre-sales or client-facing solution design experience.
