We are a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Nigeria, committed to delivering innovative connectivity solutions. We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Survey & Network Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Create network designs using AutoCAD, Visio, GIS, or similar tools
- Develop BoQs, schematic diagrams, and detailed project scopes
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and best practices
Field & Site Assessments
- Conduct site surveys for LAN, WLAN, GPON, and CCTV deployment
- Collect geo-coordinates, terrain layouts, and site-specific data
- Document conditions and prepare detailed site reports
Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Provide real-time feedback to the design and implementation teams
- Inspect field installations for compliance and identify snags
- Verify resolution of issues and prepare QA/compliance reports
Safety & Standards
- Ensure all designs and installations meet safety and functional standards
Qualifications
- BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in network design and implementation
- Strong proficiency in fiber-optic and wireless network design
- Hands-on experience with design tools like Visio, Edraw, or AutoCAD
Preferred
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- Familiarity with network simulation tools
- Understanding of Nigerian telecom regulations
