JOB DUTIES / DESCRIPTION
- Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration, upgrading software
- Supporting software (monitoring solution, backup & recovery solutions), servers, and storage in various environment.
- Provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/software and other related infrastructure.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a B.Eng / B.Tech. in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related field.
- A Master’s Degree will be added advantage.
- Possession of ITIL certification.
- CISSP/ CISM, CompTIA Security, CEH, CCSA, CCSE or other equivalent certifications.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in infrastructure and cloud with record of accomplishment in this role.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of presales, implementation and post-sales experience
- Experience working in mixed Windows/Linux, database and virtualized/physical server environments.
- Project Management certification is a big plus
- Good understanding of System/Servers Administration, IT Service Delivery, Networking, IT Infrastructure.
