Work closely within IT Team & ISP to understand and comply with Network architectural standards.
Must be able to train, monitor, & mentor members of the IT Department
Work closely with project management teams to ensure that project delivery is understood, and timescales are met.
Translate business requirement to detail or Low-Level network design.
Ensure network security and Qos across the LAN/WAN (voice & data)
Manage both Voice/Data and cabling infrastructure: PABX, Firewall, Router, Switches etc.
Ensure the data centre is operating within ISO/IEC 24764 standard
Produce a detailed documentation set that includes implementation resources, implementation of configuration on customer-facing devices.
Act in the capacity of a senior network engineer working on tasks, incidents, projects throughout the data centre networks per approved change window and architectural guidelines.
Load balancing, Redundancy, Business continuity across network.
Timely resolved all network related incident/tickets assigned to the network team.
Design and ensure the network diagram is updated.
Produce weekly network status and reports
Update/maintain all documentation requested by management and will be tasked with improving such documentation as required.
Provide IT support to user on the network
Follow through on task assigned by IT Superintendent/Manager.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Engineering/ Science or equivalent is required;
Cisco certified (CCNA minimum, CCNP preferred)
Project Management training or certificate is a plus
Experience:
Minimum of five years of significant experience in Networking, Telecommunications and IT security.
