GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

  • The Team Lead, ICT will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing information technology strategies and solutions.
  • The job holder will be working and consulting with the management team on the strategy development and strategy implementation processes, and the annual operating plans and budgets.

 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining,
  • delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Advise on the strategic direction of key electronic resources including websites and information databases.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and
  • procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.
  • Oversee ICT support (infrastructure development, systems support and maintenance) for Practice.
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information security and control structures.
  • Forecast requirement and prepare annual budget for the ICT team.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Benchmark the organization against up-to-date ICT practices and adapt accordingly.
  • Provides escalated on-site support of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Proactively identify and develop new and innovative ways of improving IT processes.
  • Analyze IT related situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within acceptable standards.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the capability of the ICT team, to achieve agreed annual targets.
  • Set objectives and strategies for the IT department.
  • Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
  • Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.
  • Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
  • Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.
  • Direct and organize IT-related projects.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
  • Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • First degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is desirable.
  • Relevant IT professional certifications.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in a similar capacity within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience as ICT Head or similar managerial role
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
