Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Compliance Officer to join our team. The Tech Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our technology systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes areas such as data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and software licensing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT compliance strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance issues and risks.
- Coordinate with IT teams, legal departments, and senior management to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on IT compliance matters.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulators as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CIPP, CCEP) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
