Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the dynamics of the African market.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of local market conditions and consumer behaviors to tailor tech solutions accordingly.
- Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring the adoption of best practices and the delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market-specific needs into product development.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador within the company, educating and guiding teams on the nuances of operating in African markets.
- Facilitate communication between local market stakeholders and the company’s tech department.
Skills And Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer with team leadership responsibilities.
- Strong technical background in software development and cloud technologies.
- Competencies and Soft Skills
- Familiarity with the cultural and business landscape of Africa.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and, preferably, one or more African languages.
