  • National Lottery Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated IT enthusiast to join our team as a Technical Assistant. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy individual to gain hands-on experience in IT support, system troubleshooting, and technical operations within the lottery and gaming industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in technology, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to platforms, software, and hardware.
  • Support the IT and Systems team in maintaining system uptime and performance.
  • Provide first-level technical support for internal staff and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Monitor and document technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Assist in testing and implementing system updates, integrations, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support for business operations.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports on system performance and issues.

Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1+ year post-NYSC (Entry-level role).
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic IT tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen interest in technology and system operations.
