Our focus in this area includes fraud monitoring, identity & access management (strong authentication and advanced biometric authentication), and mobile application security.

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Documentation Specialist is responsible for developing, organizing, and maintaining technical documentation related to the company’s Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) product and project implementations. This includes technical guides, user manuals, product documentation, solution architectures, integration instructions, implementation procedures, and newly developed methodologies. The specialist works closely with engineers, project managers, product teams, and clients to ensure all technical content is clear, comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong communication and writing skills and the ability to translate application process flows into readable technical documents.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Develop and maintain technical guides, user manuals, product documentation, and onboarding materials for 2FA projects.
  • Translate complex application process flows into clear, structured technical guides and documentation.
  • Maintain a centralized, version-controlled documentation repository used by engineering, support, and compliance teams.
  • Document discoveries, problem resolutions, and new methods encountered during project delivery.
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions and learning interventions for both new and existing employees.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, and infrastructure teams to obtain detailed technical inputs.
  • Work with product and project managers to ensure accurate translation of technical specifications for both internal and client use.
  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory documentation standards (e.g., NDPR, NITDA, CBN).

Client & Partner Support Documentation

  • Create client-facing documentation including API guides, SDK instructions, technical FAQs, and onboarding manuals.
  • Develop consistent templates for project reports and post-implementation documentation.
  • Ensure that all client documents are aligned in tone, branding, and formatting standards.

Process Improvement & Best Practices

  • Define documentation standards, templates, and quality assurance workflows.
  • Drive improvements in documentation structure, accessibility, and content quality.
  • Implement and maintain modern documentation tools such as Confluence, Git, Sphinx, or Markdown.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in IT technical writing/documentation, preferably within technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS industries.
  • Demonstrated experience creating user guides, product manuals, technical onboarding materials, and API documentation.
  • Strong background documenting API-driven platforms, 2FA/MFA protocols, authentication systems, and infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile development cycles and DevOps/DevSecOps environments.

SKILL/ COMPETENCY REQUIRED

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Swagger, Git, Markdown, MS Visio, Sphinx).
  • Strong technical understanding of authentication, networking, APIs, and infrastructure systems.
  • Ability to translate complex workflows and technical language into accessible documentation.
  • Fast learner with attention to detail and structured content creation habits.
  • Understanding of documentation requirements for regulatory frameworks (e.g., NDPR, NITDA, CBN).
  • Ability to plan and deliver technical onboarding sessions or knowledge-sharing events.

  • Documentation Accuracy & Clarity – Internal and external feedback on usability and correctness.
  • Update Frequency – Responsiveness to product and process changes.
  • Client Readiness – Effectiveness of onboarding and integration documentation.
  • Internal Knowledge Base – Health, accessibility, and completeness of internal repositories.
  • Compliance Readiness – Quality of documents used for regulatory reviews and audits.
  • Engineering Productivity – Measurable improvements in onboarding and handover timelines.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing – Delivery of at least two internal technical training sessions per quarter
