- Lead and coordinate the work of a team of engineers.
- Lead the design and architecture of software systems and applications.
- Participates as a major stakeholder in project planning, estimation, and risk management.
- Work closely with the Product Managers and Owners to ensure the team functions optimally.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
- Ensure documentation is thorough, clear, and accessible to the team.
- Lead the response to critical incidents and production issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Experiment with new technologies and approaches to drive innovation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and business leaders.
- Gathering feedback and making improvements based on user experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years proven work experience as a developer and 2+ leading a product team or similar role
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
- Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
