JOB DUTIES / DESCRIPTION
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and oversee network infrastructure (routers, firewalls, DNS).
- Provide troubleshooting and support for web hosting, domain management, and email services.
- Implement security measures like firewalls, SSL certificates, and backups to ensure data protection.
- Monitor system performance, optimize server efficiency, and handle upgrades and capacity planning.
- Work with development teams on application hosting and ensure compliance with industry standards.
QUALIFICATION / TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in server administration, network management, and technical support, preferably within a web hosting environment.
- Knowledge of DNS, networking protocols, and web hosting technologies (cPanel, WHM, Plesk, etc.).
- Experience with security protocols such as SSL, encryption, and firewall management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients
