JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Technology Solutions Architect (TSA) is responsible for evaluating business needs and determining how IT can support those needs leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure. The TSA is also involved in bridging communication between IT and business operations to ensure everyone is aligned in developing and implementing technical solutions for business problems. The TSA will also be responsible for designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering to address specific business problems.
- The TSA is also involved in both product designing and planning. This includes working with various OEM Partners to drive product utilisation for customers and managing the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The TSA job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the companys overall strategy and goals.
The Technology Solution Architect is expected to:
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and requirements.
- Prepare and document testing requirements.
- Identify areas where IT can support business needs and goals.
- Work with business units to develop IT strategies and to improve current IT implementations.
- Build, integrate, and manage software and services across the organization.
- Work with product and delivery teams to develop scalable solutions and products.
- Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
- Define the product strategy and roadmap.
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
- Be an expert with respect to the competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals
- Perform product demos to customers.
- Act as a leader within the company.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products
- Experience in a job in the IT market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical background, with experience in IT space.
- Excellent teamwork skills
