Job Responsibilities; 

 Sales and Business Development:  

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the telecommunications sector. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients. 
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and presentation skills. 

Technical Support:  

  • Provide on-site technical support for telecommunications products and services. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients. 

Customer Relationship Management:  

  • Act as a primary point of contact between the company and clients. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and proactive communication. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and feedback. 

Market Research:  

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. 
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions. 

Documentation:  

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions. 
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends. 

Academic Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or its equivalent in any discipline. 
  • A Master’s degree is an added advantage 
  • 5 years of experience in Telecommunications Engineering role. 
  • Experience in working within the Oil & Gas Sector will be considered an important advantage. 
  • Prior work experience showing increasing levels of responsibility with a focus on operations in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment 

Skills and Competencies 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills. 
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers. 
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills. 
  • Strong planning and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Good knowledge of Project Management skills.
