Job Responsibilities;
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the telecommunications sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and presentation skills.
Technical Support:
- Provide on-site technical support for telecommunications products and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact between the company and clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and proactive communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and feedback.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or its equivalent in any discipline.
- A Master’s degree is an added advantage
- 5 years of experience in Telecommunications Engineering role.
- Experience in working within the Oil & Gas Sector will be considered an important advantage.
- Prior work experience showing increasing levels of responsibility with a focus on operations in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
