About the Role

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced TV Programme Commercial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our television programmes, ensuring maximum profitability and viewer engagement. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, strategic planning, and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilites

Commercial Strategy Deyelopment

  •  Develop and implement commercial strategies for TV programmes to maximize revenue and profitability.
  •  Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising sales.

Revenue Generation

  •  Oversee the sale of advertising slots and sponsorships for TV programmes.
  •  Negotiate and secure deals with advertisers, sponsors, and partners.
  •  Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential revenue streams.

Budget Management:

  •  Prepare and manage budgets for TV programmes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
  •  Monitor expenditure and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Stakeholder Management:

  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
  •  Collaborate with internal teams, including production, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of commercial strategies.

Performance Analysis:

  •  Track and analyze the performance of TV programmes in terms of viewership, revenue, and profitability.
  •  Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Compliance and Regulations:

  •  Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  •  Stay updated on changes in advertising laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the television or media industry.
  • Strong understanding of the TV advertising market and revenue models.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive commercial success.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using financial and analytical software/tools.
